Purchasing Agent
Do you have experience in Company Purchasing? Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to make an impact? Join our team as a Purchasing Agent and help us streamline the timely, cost-efficient procurement of all vendor goods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Provides excellent face to face, phone and electronic customer service to both internal and external guests.
• Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
• Communicates with all internal and external customers
• Review all proposed and received orders to ensure vendor compliance, and recommend vendor changes when necessary.
• Ensure that all purchase requests have been approved in accordance with authorized approval levels.
• Prepare and process purchase orders to comply with established purchasing procedures and maintain appropriate files.
• Ensure vendors adhere to all purchase terms and discounts.
• Work with vendors to ensure the quality of goods purchased meets the Company's standards.
• Coordinates and processes all Return-To-Vendor requests.
• Processes all claims for damaged goods received.
• Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
• Create request for quotes and analyze vendor bids
• Track and report all information required by NYS Gaming
• All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related area, or minimum of one year's related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of one year in company purchasing or related area. Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
