As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will: • Support requirements development and management. • Develop subsystem and component performance specifications by analyzing and deriving necessary requirements. • Develop and maintain requirements verification and compliance, and supporting artifacts. • Coordinate and facilitate architecture development of assigned system, subsystems, and components. • Support development and maintenance of interface requirements and interface design information for assigned sub-system, system and components. • Document concept design decisions and support generating System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments. • Coordinate and facilitate formal decisions and trade studies to drive design and document results. • Support the performing and monitoring of cost, schedule, and risk. • Coordinate Systems Engineering activities to influence the design. • Support vehicle level Systems Engineering activities and program milestone reviews. Skills Required • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 4+ year's relevant experience. • Systems engineering experience performing requirements analysis, derivation and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions within applicable constraints. • Experience developing architecture concepts and evaluating alternatives. • Able to balance system design considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns. • Able to plan, conduct, and document trade studies. • Able to generate System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments per the program statement of work (SOW). Skills Preferred • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a Master's degree in Systems Engineering. • Experience with military vehicle systems. • Logical architecture experience, including development of use cases. • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML methodology and tools like Cameo. • Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF). • Experience with DOORS requirements management tool. • Have and maintain INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
