Warehouse Manager (Mandarin)

Position - Warehouse Manager - Savannah #147278

Location: Port Wentworth, GA

Salary range: $70,000 - $110,000/y

Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications:
Bilingual - Fluent in English and Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred as the successful candidate will be required to communicate with business partners in China.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve warehouse performance objectives by establishing daily management methods; define cost saving, productivity, and service level improvement opportunities; measure performance; analyze opportunities; improve and control performance; aim to establish outstanding customer satisfaction, speed inbound to outbound cycle time, and eliminate errors.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and outbound operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Communicate closely with internal and external warehouse customers; report to management and group internal stakeholders.
• Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts including automated sorting machinery; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; reporting to management.
• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to North America BU level projects as needed.

Experience: Warehouse/Logistics: 4 years (Required)

Language: Mandarin or Chinese (Required)

Ability to Relocate: Los Angeles, CA: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
