Chief AI Architect, Senior Manager
Key Role:
Assist the client with modernizing through cloud adoption, adoption of data standards, and development of findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) data architectures, application of artificial intelligence (AI), implementation of health data pipelines, use of high-performance computing, and availability of shared analytics and visualization services. Build relationships and lead efforts related to AI-ready data, AI enabled data pipelines, generative AI solutions, AI operations, responsible AI, high-performance computing, and user support. Help develop on-premises and cloud-based AI solutions to accelerate life science research, protect public health, and transform healthcare. Process data and information at massive scale with AI or machine learning (ML) technologies, apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts, contribute to the development of new principles and concepts, and lead design and hands-on development of solutions to highly complex problems in support of multiple missions' successes. Provide thought leadership, drive business growth, and develop and maintain client relationships. Take an active role in the development, mentoring, and coaching of a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and domain experts, work to actively enhance the diversity of the firm, and play a lead role in attracting, developing, and retaining a world-class team of AI professionals supporting the firm's health business.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience architecting and developing cloud solutions that enable data scientists to build and deploy AI models at scale
- Experience using Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with AI, including ML, natural language processing (NLP), generative AI, and computer vision, and integrating AI and ML capabilities into software architecture design
- Experience designing architectures that implement the FAIR data principles
- Experience integrating DevSecOps or MLOps practices and principles
- Experience with different data storage technologies and databases, including data lakes, relational, non-relational, and graph data storage
- Experience managing teams
- Experience with public health and life sciences consulting supporting the U.S. government
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting on-premises and cloud-based high performance computing environments
- Experience leading projects involving ingesting, processing, storing, and analyzing healthcare data, electronic health records, medical imaging, and genomics, and conforming to healthcare regulations and data privacy considerations
- Experience developing and mentoring staff at all levels and building an internal capacity to deliver high quality and highly innovative analytics services
- Experience with project management, vendor management, and client relationship building
- Solutions Architect Certification from a Cloud Service Provider (CSP)

The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
