Aerotek is hiring Assemblers for a medical manufacturing company in Portage, MI! Position: Assembler Location: Portage Shift: 2pm - 10pm Pay: $18 Responsibilities Assemble components including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components. Follow safety, quality, and quantity standards. Read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English. Adhere to safety-related issues, including good housekeeping and ergonomics practices. Participate in workplace organization and follow training procedures, including cross-training and teamwork. Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail. Identify and report safety and quality issues. Learn new processes, systems, and equipment. Work collaboratively in a diverse team setting, participate in team improvement, and resolve conflicts. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED. Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends. Capability to read and comprehend procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.
