Quality Control Specialist 3- Raw Materials

Lonza AG is looking for a Quality Control Specialist 3- Raw Materials! In this role, you will work closely with our suppliers and internal customers to ensure the detailed quality of raw materials that drive our innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly contact suppliers and internal customers to acquire vital documentation for material assessments and release.
  • Independently review and approve cGMP documentation (such as COA, internal and external test records, BSE/TSE statements) required for material assessments and release.
  • Support part number processes and review and approve SAP master data.
  • Lead supplier qualification for the site, ensuring all criteria are technically met.
  • Generate, revise, and approve material specifications, maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Facilitate the processing of vendor change notifications, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance.
  • Perform SAP transactions required for material release and other Quality functions within SAP.
  • Lead deviations and change controls as an owner or QA approver in the Trackwise system.
  • Write and revise master documents such as Forms, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and specifications.
  • Maintain compliance with all required training and assist with training fellow analysts.
  • Perform project-related tasks as assigned, supplying to our daring goals.
  • Complete other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and dedication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-10 years in a relevant field, with proven expertise in quality control and materials management.
