Description
Seeking an Environmental Scientist or Engineer in any of our office locations with 5 or more years of experience working in natural resources, permitting, and ecological restoration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
A bachelor's degree in environmental science, ecology, civil engineering, agricultural/biological engineering, water resources engineering or related field, master's degree is a plus. Experience with MS Office, GIS, and CAD preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
Experience working in Mid-Atlantic region (Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania) preferred.
This is an office position with some field time requirements. The position can grow toward a leadership role in the firm.
The position location can be negotiable as we have offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

- Wetland delineations and reporting
- Section 404/401 permitting
- Wetland and stream restoration
- Agency coordination
- Geomorphic assessment
- Functional assessment
- Living shoreline/shoreline protection
- Monitoring of streams, wetlands, and stormwater facilities
- Developing construction documents (plans, specifications, estimates)
