What You Will Do:

  • Lead group projects and work assignments.

  • Fill in on the production line for absent team members and participate in assembly activities.

  • Provide guidance and feedback to team members to accomplish tasks and goals.

  • Coach and mentor team members.

  • Recommend improvements to productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

  • Obtain and apply advanced component and technical applications.

  • Assign resources and prioritize workflow to meet on-time delivery.

  • Generate Rosetta/Oracle reports, completions, work orders, and daily updates.

  • Handle inventory terminations, adjustments, and other administrative tasks.

  • Troubleshoot assembly problems and equipment to ensure quality assurance.

  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Production Planning to ensure parts supply for production.

  • Schedule and participate in near miss form submissions, weekly safety meetings, and continuous improvement functions.

  • Enforce compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

  • Contribute to the department's continuous improvement culture.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all matters.

  • Perform all Plunger Assembler duties and responsibilities.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Position Details:

  • 4 day - 10hr shifts, Monday - Thursday, 5:30am - 4:15pm


Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent education

  • Three or more years of relevant experience.

  • Basic blueprint reading and interpretation.

  • Ability to use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.

  • Good oral and written communication.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking.

  • Good math skills for problem-solving.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick learning of technical skills.

  • Good mechanical skills for field maintenance of artificial lift equipment.

  • Sound judgment in decision-making, including involving others and making timely decisions.

  • Strong leadership, inspiring and motivating others, accepting feedback, and providing vision and recognition.

Physical Demands:

  • The employee is regularly required to stand for the entire work day.

  • The employee regularly lifts and carries 50 lbs. and occasionally lifts and carries up to 100 lbs. with a partner.

  • The employee is able to work in confined spaces and at heights.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material. The employee will also reach with arms and hands as needed.

  • Work is primarily executed on the production floor, with varying temperatures and high levels of noise; personal safety equipment such as glasses and protective shoes may be required.

  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.

  • At least six months gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) vocational training or work experience.

  • Knowledge of manual set-up, maintenance, operation of equipment, torches, and turning fixtures.

  • Experience with rotating and fixed semi-automatic and manual GTAW welding of steel and stainless alloys.
