Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

Selectek is partnering with a firm near Montgomery, Alabama to hire a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer on a direct hire basis. Candidates will be focused on designing HVAC and ventilation systems for a company that specializes in municipal projects. Our client is moving quickly to interview candidates with their desired skills and characteristics! Expected Pay Range: $100,000-$130,000 annual salary Location: Montgomery, Alabama Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal workday hours Job Duties: - Develop and design HVAC system solutions for large K-12 and municipal projects - Mentor younger engineers - Prepare and develop project narratives, cost estimates, plans, and specifications - Oversee and perform project work in all phases - Provide drawing coordination and technical oversight for project activities - Perform site observations, review shop drawings/material submittals, and other related administrative tasks Job Requirements: - Minimum of five years of experience - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering - PE license is a must - Proficiency with AutoCAD - Experience with HVAC system design and equipment operation - Knowledge of building codes - Construction administration experience In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
