Ideal candidates will be hybrid, based in the Dublin, OH, office and/or based within the Central or Eastern time zones. What Pricing Strategy contributes to Cardinal Health Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and services. Pricing Strategy acts to set overarching deal and product pricing strategies, provides guidance on value to help inform the negotiation strategy, and creates standard offer designs and target profitability for each business unit or customer segment. Responsibilities Implementation of effective pricing strategies and analytics to grow market share, achieve financial objectives, and maximize product value across the product lifecycle for both new and existing products Drive revenue and margin growth: Utilize pricing analytics to identify pricing gaps, optimize pricing structures, and recommend pricing adjustments to drive sales and growth based on market dynamics Working closely with Global Marketing, Commercial Enablement, Sales, and Finance teams, to drive analytics, insights, and actions that lead to sustained revenue and margin growth Analyze market data: Leverage market research and competitive intelligence to identify pricing opportunities and support best-in-class pricing and promotion strategies Stay updated on industry trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify emerging pricing opportunities and potential risks. Build partnerships and trust with Cardinal Product & Marketing teams; ability to communicate effectively across the organization with business partners regarding profitability improvement opportunities and key pricing insights, while being comfortable when challenged. Engage with all levels of leadership (Directors and VPs) as a pricing subject matter expert as well as an influencer towards organizational needs and interests. Lead a team of 4 direct reports Qualifications 8-12 years of experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred Demonstrated track record of contributing to growth and profitability goals Experience as people leader Medical product manufacturing/distribution industry background preferred Independent planning and prioritization skills Effective stakeholder influencing (i.e. consulting background) Bias for action - both strategically and tactically Curiosity and desire to increase knowledge. Effective communication across diverse audiences. Proven cross-functional leadership experience with the ability to develop teams and lead them to success High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously Strong analytical skills to run analyses on large data sets and build complex analytical models; excel, power point, Thinkcell, Alteryx, experience with SQL, Tableau and statistical tools What is expected of you and others at this level Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope Projects may have significant and long-term impact Provides solutions which may set precedent Independently determines method for completion of new projects Receives guidance on overall project objectives Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Anticipated salary range: $103,500 - $147,900 Bonus eligible: Yes Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
