Vice President, Total Rewards
Brightcove is looking to hire a VP, Total Rewards to report to the Chief People Officer. This person will create and execute a Total Rewards strategy that will drive attraction, engagement and overall performance, thus enabling Brightcove’s growth. The selected candidate will be a key member of Brightcove’s Human Resources Leadership Team and who is passionate about collaborating with the business and leveraging business expertise to help drive the organization. This is an opportunity for a person interested in innovation and execution excellence and who also seeks out and uses feedback, observations and data to develop strategies and fine-tune short-term tactics to achieve long-term objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for owning the development and execution of a thoughtful and compelling total rewards and compensation strategy that embraces competitive data and employs innovative approaches.
- Successfully deliver a total rewards program that Brightcove employees value and enables Brightcove to attract and retain diverse talent.
- Lead and manage the Total Rewards team, ensuring to continuously and effectively coach and develop each team member.
- Responsible for driving the benefits renewal process and leading our long-term benefits strategy.
- Manage all compensation programs, including the development and maintenance of base salary ranges and other compensation practices across Brightcove, and partner effectively with the Talent team to communicate to the business.
- Ensure Brightcove employs equitable pay practices, internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance.
- You will assist in the oversight and administration of the Brightcove Equity Plan.
Basic Qualifications
- 12 years of experience in Human Resources (with much of the time leading Total Rewards) with significant demonstrated success building and launching a spectrum of broad-based, innovative total rewards programs.
- Knowledge and understanding of compensation and benefits practices gained through past practical application.
- Understanding of executive compensation design, administration and governance globally.
- Experience working in technology companies or organizations that have experienced rapid growth with high performing cultures.
- Well honed, strong project and program management skills; delivers on-time and budget.
- Public company experience.
- Must be able to come into the Boston office 1-2 days a week and as needed.
