Testek Solutions is currently seeking a Precision Mechanical Assembler.
Job requirements include but are not limited to:
The regulatory burdens for OEMs, MROs and operators make aerospace component testing a necessity. To run their businesses successfully, OEMs, MROs and operators need reliable, high-quality, supported test equipment that provides on-schedule certification testing results throughout every stage of the aircraft's lifecycle - from development, to production, and through servicing and repair.
This position will Inspect and assemble individual parts for speed increasers, high speed gearboxes, rotating, and nonrotating fixtures buy using basic measuring tools, basic hand tools, precision bearings, gears, splines, a wide variety of seals and individual parts done in a clean and organized department.
Required Skills: Any combination of mechanical automotive, mechanical assembly, dimensional inspection, machinist.
Principal Duties: Dimensionally and visually inspect parts, deburr, wash, install precision bearings, flare, and bend small diameter tubing, perform minor machining, install O-rings and seals, interpret basic mechanical drawings.
Track, organize and inventory incoming parts for assembly assignments
Minimal requirements - High School Diploma and/or 2-4 years of experience
Training is available for all equipment used. Forklift, hydraulic press, acetylene torch, flaring machine for tubing, lathe, vertical milling/drilling machine, electric hoist
Must have the following skills - Time management, detail-oriented, and the ability to multi-task
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
