Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced layout designer to become an integral part of our product development team. The right candidate will create printed circuit board artwork working with electronics, embedded and hardware engineers, while contributing design expertise during implementation of 'state of the art' servo amplifiers which combine power circuitry, microprocessors, and high-speed communications into challenging packages.

Pay Range: $90,000 to $110,000 annual salary.

Required Responsibilities:
- Create artwork and fabrication data for multi-layer printed circuit boards.
- Work closely with design and production engineers to create effective PCBAs.
- Add, maintain, and validate the AMC integrated libraries for new parts data, symbols, and footprints.
- Maintain PCB artwork for active design configurations and product variants.
- Additional job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-years CAD work experience with design of high-speed digital PCBs including FPGA, DSP, and microcontroller-based circuits.
- Option: Minimum AS degree in Engineering will require a minimum of 10-years CAD work experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to voltages up to 800V and currents up to 500A in industrial/automotive/defense PCBs.
- PCB Design experience with analog and digital mixed-signal circuits in highly integrated assemblies.
- Understanding of electrical circuits and components behavior and their parasitic elements and interactions.
- Knowledge of design practices to suppress EMI and achieve high EMC across control and power spectrums.
- Existing knowledge and/or eagerness to learn Siemens PADS Standard-Plus and Pro-Premium packages.
- Existing knowledge and/or eagerness to learn CAM350.
- Prior experience using PLM software (Agile, Arena, Omnify etc.).
- Close collaboration with mechanical, test and quality engineers in the implementation of new products.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and equipment for design and assembly optimized layouts.

- Minimum BS degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Option: Minimum AS degree in Engineering or related fields will require minimum 10-years CAD work experience (see above).
Other Requirements:
- Will occasionally/frequently: stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift/push/pull to 25 lbs.
- We are ITAR Registered. Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo, CA facility. Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with additional hours as required.
