Registrar Corp is searching for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our amazing FSVP Team. In this role, you will leverage your love for science, research skills, and attention to detail to have a direct impact on the safety of foods imported to the U.S.
As a Food Safety Regulatory Specialist I, you will be provided with the training and resources to become a qualified individual and expert in U.S. FDA food safety regulations while collaborating with our experienced Specialists in the development of FSVPs, conducting supplier assessments, attending FDA inspections, and other critical FSVP compliance activities. You will interact with suppliers all over the world and other colleagues from the U.S. and international offices.

As a Food Safety Regulatory Specialist I, you will be provided with the training and resources to become a qualified individual and expert in U.S. FDA food safety regulations while collaborating with our experienced Specialists in the development of FSVPs, conducting supplier assessments, attending FDA inspections, and other critical FSVP compliance activities. You will interact with suppliers all over the world and other colleagues from the U.S. and international offices.
Skills:
- Excellent research skills to conduct hazard analyses and provide recommendations.
- Strong reading comprehension and writing skills
- Attention to detail to identify and address deficiencies in a client's food safety system
- Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with clients with different backgrounds, cultures, and levels of education
- High level of organization to manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete work independently, correctly and efficiently.
- A bachelor's degree or higher education in Food Science or related science degree with a concentration in food safety, food processing, and/or quality control
- 1-2 years' experience in food safety via training or work experience, PCQI certification, preferred.
- Foreign language skills (particularly Spanish) a plus
- Remote position eligible
