Executive Assistant to CEO at Series A Startup

Fast-growing startup revolutionizing web development tools is seeking an Executive Assistant to support their CEO. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, global team led by a successful multi-time Founder. As a strategic partner to the CEO, you will manage complex calendars, prepare for meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and assist with high-priority projects including investor updates and board presentations. You will also provide light personal assistance to the CEO and occasional support to the CTO. The ideal candidate has experience supporting busy executives and can implement systems to keep the CEO organized and on schedule. This is a fully remote role operating in PST hours, plus if based in the Bay Area for in-person collaboration. 160-180K+ DOE + benefits, equity, 401k, flexible PTO and wellness & tech stipend!

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage the CEO's complex and demanding calendar, ensuring priorities are clearly identified and scheduling is optimized for maximum efficiency.
  • Prepare for and coordinate high-level meetings, including board meetings, ensuring all materials and agendas are thoroughly organized and ready in advance.
  • Arrange and oversee detailed travel itineraries as needed.
  • Support a variety of strategic and operational projects, such as preparing investor updates, developing board presentations, coordinating equity grants, and assisting with initiatives.
  • Provide light personal assistant support to the CEO as required.
  • Offer occasional scheduling and email assistance for the CTO.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience supporting a senior-level Executive in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of maintaining accountability, meeting deadlines, and delivering results with precision.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask, ensuring critical items are addressed effectively and nothing is overlooked.
  • Confident and assertive in managing upwards, with the ability to provide structure, guidance, and constructive feedback to ensure the executive stays focused and aligned with priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
