Summary

The Event Marketing Manager will play a critical role in managing Highland's events and representing our brand with key stakeholders across the country.

This role is pivotal in managing and enhancing the customer experience, engaging our partners, and building a community of parents, students, and local advocates who champion the benefits of electric vehicle fleets.

This person will manage the production of live and virtual events and have extremely strong organizational skills with direct experience managing consumer events, trade shows, and corporate events, and maintaining an event budget. This role will manage 1-2 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Create and implement event marketing plans that align with the Highland's overall marketing strategy and deliver an engaging brand experience for customers, consumers and our partners
    • Manage and coordinate the events calendar to ensure proper brand presence based on size and type of event - consumer, trade and customer events
    • Manage all event logistics including selecting & coordinating with vendors and other partners, overseeing production of event collateral, and managing event budgets and timelines
    • Attend a selection of events, both live and virtual, ensuring they align with our business objectives and brand standards
    • Provide regular project status updates to relevant stakeholders
    • Conduct pre- and post-event analytics to gauge success and identify areas for improvement
    • Manage national speaking application program
    • Oversee promotional items (ordering, inventory, and delivery)Manage and mentor events marketing team
    • Manage campaign assets, timelines and other critical information in internal tracking systems and calendars
    • Become an expert and steward of Highland's brand guidelines and help facilitate adherence with cross functional teams
Qualifications
    • 5+ years' experience in an events management role
    • Excellent project management skills, extremely organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes
    • Excellent interpersonal skills exhibiting tact and diplomacy in establishing and maintaining cooperative, professional relationships with partners, cross-functional teams and public
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written including strong proofreading, and editing skills to compose social and business correspondence, and invitations
    • Experience building a production timeline for events, e.g. run of show, vendor timelines, etc.
    • Creative problem-solving skills
    • Experience with Google/Microsoft Suite required
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
    • Valid Driver's License


$110,000 - $130,000 a year
