The impact you'll make…
The Senior Vice President of Business Development is responsible for sourcing third party hotel management contracts nationwide by leveraging industry relationships and identifying new management opportunities. Additionally, this role will enhance First Hospitality’s relationship in the hotel development, ownership, and capital market communities.
What you'll be doing...
Strategic Growth Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue and portfolio growth. Identify and prioritize target markets, brands, and hotel opportunities to align with our growth vision.
Pipeline Development:
- Source and evaluate hotel management opportunities, including new builds, acquisitions, and conversions.
- Build a robust pipeline of opportunities by networking with developers, owners, and industry leaders.
Relationship Management:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners, investors, real estate developers, and franchisors.
- Serve as the company’s ambassador at industry events, conferences, and networking events.
Proposal & Contract Negotiations:
- Lead the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential partners and stakeholders.
- Negotiate management contracts and agreements in collaboration with legal, and leadership team.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the hospitality sector.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor team to achieve growth targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionality with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment and successful transitions for new projects.
You should have…
- A degree in real estate, business, or hotel administration is required.
- Minimum of 10 year’s experience in client relationship management.
- Proven experience in hospitality business development and/or investment is required.
- Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to quickly process new information and adapt to change.
- Strong written, oral presentation, and sales communication skills required.
- A well-rounded understanding of both independent and branded hotel operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, analyze large datasets, and translate them into meaningful insights.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on fact-based decision-making.
- Effective negotiation skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions.
- Ability to foster a collaborative environment within the organization.
- Travel is required based on business demands.
