Position Overview:
Do you have a passion for building a strong team and driving transformational change? Do you thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment? The Project Management Senior Manager will support the Information Security department within EO&T, Freddie Mac’s largest line of business.
Our Impact:
The individual will be responsible for leading a small team of project managers within the Information Security Department while also being 'hands on keyboard' to drive large transformational efforts within Information Security and across the Enterprise Operations and Technology organization. Our team is responsible for identifying, evaluating, designing, developing, and implementing new or enhanced offerings and business or technology projects initiated by the Information Security Division.
We engage business areas across the company including technology to identify and resolve impacts related to offerings being implemented to ensure successful rollout and adoption internally with business partners and externally with our customers!
Your Impact:
- Responsible for the management of a portfolio of Information Security Technology efforts (project management responsibilities include building and implementing comprehensive project plans, status reporting, stakeholder management, and project rollout planning).
- Responsible for managing a team of project managers assigned to manage the individual projects.
- Partner closely with the Issue Management Office, Information Security Service Providers and leaders within Information Security.
- Drive discussions within teams to create a gap analysis between current and future state. Work on multi-disciplinary projects that require a broad understanding of the firm and its key functions.
- Develop a solid understanding of Freddie Mac's project management, governance change initiatives, and business processes.
- Develop creative alternatives to business and technical issues arising from impact assessments to achieve offering objectives.
- Have direct interaction with management regarding status, progress, and impediments.
- Effectively manage assigned efforts through the use of standard project management tools, including project work plans, issue logs, status reporting.
- Sound multi-tasking and organizational skills: project management, well organized, dependable, assertive, and results oriented.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and conference calls (managing the flow and keeping them on track) including scheduling the meetings; developing agendas and meeting minutes; providing and documenting, tracking, and following-up on action items from the meetings.
- Ability to set standards for the team.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of related experience.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- 7+ years of project management experience.
- 2+ years of Information Security experience.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Knowledge and experience developing Project Plans and Dependency documents.
- Knowledge and experience applying basic project management processes, required.
- Experience in both Agile and waterfall methodology.
- Proven experience and ability to meet expectations in a process-oriented environment.
- Ability to interface directly with the client and cross functional project teams to facilitate project delivery on schedule with minimal oversight.
- Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications; to include Project, Excel and Word.

- Relationship building within and outside of the Product Delivery organization.
- Stay current on policies, processes and procedures that impact product delivery process improvements.
- Ability to work and collaborate within the team.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $166,000 - $250,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
