What You Will Do:

The Electronics Assembler has responsibilities associated with the mechanical assembly, circuit card assembly, and repairs, performing a variety of mechanical assembly and subassembly, circuit board soldering, harnessing, and solder termination operations utilizing assembly process procedures and engineering drawings.

The work hours are 3:00 PM-11:30 PM (2nd shift). The 2nd shift position includes a shift premium. Training for all shifts will be held on 1st shift (7:00 AM-3:30 PM). This position is located at our headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report directly to the Manager of Electronic Assembly and Support.

How You Will Do It:

  • Operates various SMT and associated machines.
  • Performs electrical and/or mechanical assembly. Assembles small components.
  • Uses small electrical hand tools and soldering iron.
  • Hand solder components onto circuit cards.
  • Performs wire harnessing.

What We Look For:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum two years of soldering experience.
  • Must have fine manual dexterity skills.
  • Able to follow standard written work instructions and comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Able to successfully pass the Astronautics solder training program.
  • Able to pass English comprehension test (in order to meet requirements of our FAA Repair Station).
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • IPC-610 solder certified.
  • Avionics manufacturing experience is a plus.
