About the Role
We are searching for a talented Director of Key Accounts to help drive our mission in revolutionizing cancer treatment. In this critical role, you will lead and manage a diverse range of key accounts, including major regional payers, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and significant community oncology practices. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing access strategies with targeted accounts, ensuring product coverage, clinical utilization protocols, and effective distribution and supply coordination. As a key player in our organization, you will build robust relationships with clinical and business leaders to optimize the use of our products.
To qualify, candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA being highly desirable, and possess a minimum of 15 years' experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, specifically focusing on payer account management and GPO engagement. A thorough understanding of the oncology buy and bill model, including dealings with commercial and government-based payers, is essential.
This role demands exceptional skills in customer business planning, tactical planning, execution, and requires strong leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful history of influencing and negotiating with external decision-makers and will thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also necessary.
