JOB TITLE: Senior Designer LOCATION: Greenville, SC JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Senior Designer will work with engineering teams to originate and produce complex design drawings and 3D models related to facility systems. This role involves walking down field systems, interpreting field data, and generating advanced design details while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize CAD applications and 3D modeling tools to create new drawings, modify existing designs, and create 3D models of moderate to advanced complexity.
Read, interpret, and generate design drawings with minimal supervision.
Conduct field walkdowns, interpret direction, and generate detailed designs based on field data.
Provide support in developing project estimates, schedules, scopes of services, scopes of facilities, and progress and tracking reports.
Ensure designs comply with Federal, State, and Local codes and standards, particularly those relevant to nuclear or other specialized engineering projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Per Department of Energy Requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen.
Associates degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 10 years of drafting and design experience with a specialization in one of the following fields: process/chemical, piping, plumbing, structural, or instrumentation & control systems.
Must be proficient in drafting and design with CAD and 3D modeling tools. Experience in SmartPlant 3D, Microstation, Revit, Navisworks).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong experience in nuclear or similarly regulated industries.
Advanced technical knowledge in design and drafting standards and practices across multiple engineering disciplines.

This position is located in Greenville, SC. The assignment duration is approximately 2-4 years, and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. This position is not remote; you will be required to report to project offices.
