Essential Responsibilities

Rewinder Roll reel to jack from staging area and place in jack. String wire through rewinder machine. Operate machine to control speed of reel. Guide wire onto new reel to ensure correct placement. Maintain accurate inspection logs and reel labels. Monitor processes & controls to assure quality. Take completed reel to inspection. Place completed reel in designated location. Read and understand manufacturing instructions. Use & read micrometers to measure wire. Complete paperwork, record and enter data. Communicate with supervisors & associates. Follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes, procedures & practices. Maintain cleanliness of area. Use of tools including (but not limited to) wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computer. Other duties as assigned
