Supportive Credentialing Process: While hospital/surgery center privileges are required, we are committed to working with you to facilitate a smooth credentialing process. What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive consultations and physical examinations for patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. Formulate personalized treatment plans and ensure effective communication with patients regarding their diagnoses and management options. Perform a variety of endoscopic procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy, to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders. Manage inpatients with gastrointestinal complications, including conducting bedside procedures and collaborating with other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in hospital rounding on admitted patients and provide comprehensive care coordination. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in gastroenterology and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. Who You Are: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine in Wisconsin or ability to obtain an Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) privilege. Board-certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Fellowship in Gastroenterology (required). Current ACLS certification (required). BLS certification (required). A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in both clinical and procedural settings. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. The ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
