Locum Tenens Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Opportunity Near Endicott, WA Are you a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist seeking a locum tenens opportunity in Washington? We have an immediate opening near Endicott, WA, for a skilled physician to provide inpatient psychiatric care and consultative services. This position is ideal for a psychiatrist looking for a flexible assignment with a focus on comprehensive mental health services for young patients. Position Overview: Location: Near Endicott, WA Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call EMR System: Epic Practice Details: Specialty: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Practice Setting: Inpatient, no outpatient care required. Shifts and Coverage: Inpatient Unit: Provide full-time psychiatric care for child and adolescent patients. Patient Load: Manage 8-10 patients per shift. Rounding: Conduct rounds on assigned patients within the inpatient unit. Call Coverage: While weekend coverage is not required, some call coverage is anticipated. This will be shift-based, with pediatric consultations to the Emergency Department (ED) and medical units. Consultations are scheduled in the morning, with a minimum guaranteed 4-hour shift on-site. Once the shift is complete, no return to the hospital is required unless specifically called in. Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Psychiatry, with a focus on child and adolescent care. Fellowship: Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is preferred. Certifications: BLS is required; other certifications (ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS) are not needed. Licensing: Must be licensed in Washington or eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). No reimbursement is available for licensing costs. Privileges: Hospital or surgery center privileges are not required. Admissions to the inpatient unit will be managed through standard procedures. Temporary Privileges: Not available for this position. Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 90 days. Why This Opportunity?
