Senior Android Engineer - Rapidly Growing Workplace Platform
San Francisco | Hybrid (3 days on-site) | $170k - $190k + Competitive Equity

What You'll Do:
- Own end-to-end development of core product features on a rapidly expanding mobile platform
- Drive technical decisions and improve team velocity through process optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create exceptional user experiences
- Design and implement core Android application components
- Lead technical design and code reviews while sharing knowledge across the organization
- Scale the mobile app to support tens of thousands of customers
Technical Environment:
- Modern Android tech stack: 100% Kotlin-based codebase
- Contemporary architecture practices and components
- Tech stack includes: Coroutines, Hilt/Dagger, GraphQL, Apollo, OkHttp, Retrofit, Jetpack components
- Strong emphasis on unit testing and code quality
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of Android development experience with Kotlin proficiency
- Minimum 2 tenures of 2+ years at reputable companies in mobile engineering roles
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field
- Published and maintained apps in Google Play Store
- Strong background in modern mobile architectures (MVVM, MVI, clean architecture)
- Experience with functional asynchronous programming (Coroutines or RxJava)
Bonus Points For:
- GraphQL experience
- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or iBeacons expertise
