LightFeather is currently seeking a Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer to assist in the design, implementation, and management of Azure solutions for our clients. This role focuses on leveraging Azure services to support scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and a desire to contribute to innovative projects within a collaborative team. This is a Full Time, Remote Position. Responsibilities: Assist in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. Configure and deploy Azure services, ensuring compliance with best practices for security, scalability, and availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support tailored Azure solutions. Monitor and maintain cloud systems, optimizing performance, cost, and reliability. Develop and maintain documentation, including technical guides and operational procedures. Participate in assessments and audits of existing Azure deployments to ensure compliance with organizational standards. Provide support for the development of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Stay updated on emerging Azure services and technologies, integrating them where applicable. Required Qualifications and Skills: US Citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain clearance at the Public Trust level or above. Active or prior clearance is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, including basic architecture, configuration, and management. Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, and Azure Storage. Basic understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of network architecture and security best practices within cloud environments. Relevant Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Fundamentals, are preferred. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred: Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Basic knowledge of automation tools, scripting languages, and monitoring solutions. Exposure to other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus. Why Join LightFeather?
