The Senior CPFR Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes with key distribution partners and internal stakeholders. This position is responsible for ensuring alignment between demand planning, supply chain operations, and inventory management to drive efficient product availability and reduce supply chain costs. The Senior Analyst will analyze data, provide insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improve processes, forecasting accuracy, and inventory flow. This position requires high level of data management and analysis, along with strong relationship and communication skills. This position can be remote in the US or 2-3 days in office at our San Diego HQ location.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborative Planning & Forecasting:

  • Partnering with internal operational teams to improve forecast accuracy and risk management to support weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning cycles.

  • Representing forecasts in the Sales & Operations Planning process and perform forecast accuracy analysis to identify focus areas within the product lines, including daily forecasting, order and inventory management activities.

  • Analyzing & prioritizing orders to ensure strategic business goals are met.

  • Supporting strategic new product launches and product transitions

2. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze sales trends, seasonal patterns, and market conditions to create accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans.

  • Create and present regular reports and performance metrics related to forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and supply chain efficiency.

  • Utilize forecasting software, Excel, Power BI, and other tools to generate actionable insights and recommendations.

3. Replenishment & Inventory Management:

  • Manage and optimize replenishment strategies to ensure product availability and minimize excess inventory.

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, and production to maintain optimal inventory levels and support timely product deliveries.

  • Managing daily operations and inventory planning to ensure target inventory levels are maintained with minimal aged inventory and minimal stock outs,

  • Identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, stockouts, or excess stock in a timely manner.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on forecast assumptions, promotions, and new product launches.

  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, sharing data and insights to support effective planning and forecasting.

  • Drive continuous improvement in CPFR processes and help implement best practices across the supply chain organization.

5. Process Improvement & Strategy:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the CPFR & supply chain framework and lead projects to drive efficiencies and cost savings.

  • Participate in the development and execution of long-term strategies for improving demand forecasting accuracy and inventory management.

  • Support the implementation of new technologies and tools that enhance CPFR processes and collaboration.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field is preferred

Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in supply chain management, demand planning, or CPFR roles; experience with retail or distribution partners is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).

  • Experience with demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis) is preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large data sets to generate insights.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

  • A proven ability to use quantitative and qualitative analysis to draw conclusion and to make data driven recommendations that are concise and actionable.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and actionable recommendations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment in a retail, distribution, or consumer goods environment.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and replenishment strategies.

  • Full-time position with occasional travel required.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $69,000 to $100,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
