The Opportunity: Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how to secure it. As a cloud architect, you know how to assess and implement requirements that ensure the safety of information systems and protect them against intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. We need you to guide the development of cloud-based security architectures for some of the Air Force's most critical systems. As a DevOps and Cloud Engineer on our team, you'll define, communicate, and implement security architecture to support mission-critical operations. You'll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources to address the risk management framework (RMF). Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with the customer and migration teamsto ensure standards are met with information assurance and security requirements. You'll continue to strengthen your skills in Elastic and cloud security principles while mentoring tomorrow's cloud security experts. You Have: 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and managing secure, scalable, and dynamic cloud and on-premise SaaS solutions
3+ years of experience building, testing, and maintaining cloud environments and services from the ground up using government cloud PMO controls such as CloudOne
Experience with Ansible or Terraform
Ability to collaborate with RMF teams to flush out security controls and initiate or maintain cloud services
Experience implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
DOD 8140 IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have: Experience with high availability and scalability best practices
Knowledge of security automation and application security testing, including SAST or DAST
Bachelor's degree

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
