Field Engineer/Inspector - Construction Materials Testing

Our client is looking for a Field Engineer/Inspector with ACI Certification to perform inspections and testing services on various construction materials, including soils, foundation structural masonry, fireproofing, reinforced concrete, and post-tensioned concrete. About the Role: Conduct inspections and testing on construction materials, including soils, asphalt, concrete, masonry, and fireproofing. Review civil and structural plans to ensure compliance with industry standards. Apply knowledge of ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, DOT, and other relevant testing methods and standards. Provide clear and accurate documentation of inspection results using field data collection software and Microsoft Word. Communicate effectively with project teams and clients. Who You Are: 5+ years of experience in inspections and construction testing for soils, asphalt, concrete, and masonry. ACI Field Level 1 Certification (required for concrete testing). At least one ICC Certification (ICC Soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing, or ICC Structural Steel and Bolting). Strong knowledge of testing and inspection methods, along with industry standards (ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, DOT). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and field data collection software. Nice to Have: Additional certifications from nationally recognized organizations (CWI, NICET, PTI Level I or II) are a plus but not required. Additional Info: This is a temp to perm opportunity.
