Sr Software Engineer Global Protect Cloud Services

It uses cutting-edge public and private cloud technologies extending the next generation security protection to all cloud services, customers on-premise remote networks, and mobile users. RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in software design and implementation of Global Protect Cloud Service features. Work with the QA team to provide high-quality feature deliveries and releases. Collaborate with DevOps and Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues. Work with other software development teams to apply PanOS features on GPCS. QUALIFICATIONS: High energy and can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented spirit, enjoys working with various teams. Fast learner and eager to absorb new emerging technologies. Solid programming skills in Python and C; JavaScript is a plus. Cloud experience or knowledge, such as AWS, Azure, GCE, Kubernetes, is a plus. Virtualization experience or knowledge, such as ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V, is a plus. Networking and Routing experience or knowledge is a plus. Firewall, IPSec, SSL, and VPN experience or knowledge is a plus. SDN (Software Defined Network) experience or knowledge is a plus. SQL or NoSQL database experience or knowledge is a plus.
