Job Type Full-time Description The Digital Forensic Analyst will oversee and conduct digital forensic investigations, manage the receipt and handling of devices, and perform the collection and analysis efforts. This role requires effective coordination with team members, clients, and other departments to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of forensic services. Responsibilities: Work with a team of experienced digital forensic analysts and technicians. Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly/monthly activities related to device and data intake, return, data destruction, forensic analysis, and reporting. Oversee the chain of custody for all received devices and evidence. Conduct complex digital forensic collections, examinations, and data analysis. Coordinate work activities with other managers, departments, and external stakeholders. Identify and resolve operational and technical problems using defined processes, expertise, and judgment. Demonstrate flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours, including some evenings and weekends, to meet critical case deadlines and client needs. Utilize best practices in chain of custody and project documentation. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or digital forensics, or equivalent digital forensics work experience. 3 years providing digital forensics services, with the ability to independently develop, implement, and manage digital forensic engagements from start to finish. Basic understanding of standard digital forensic tools and platforms to perform forensic imaging and analysis (e.g. EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, and X-Ways, Magnet etc.). Experience working with eDiscovery personnel and project managers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and cloud systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-starter with superior work ethic and professionalism. Certifications and/or degrees in digital forensics (e.g., CFCE, CCE, CEECS, GIAC, GCFA) are a strong plus. Existing business relationships in the legal marketplace are a strong plus. Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry equipment and devices weighing up to 50 pounds. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional travel to client sites or data centers, including out-of-state locations.
