The Global Ambassador Hotel is a Michelin Key luxury destination in Phoenix, known for redefining urban hospitality. We offer a unique and sophisticated experience for our guests, combining exquisite service, luxurious amenities, and a vibrant community atmosphere. Our focus is on providing an extraordinary stay that sets new standards for luxury and service.
What You'll Do
Provide on-site technical support to hotel staff and guests for hardware, software, network, and telecom-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent user experience. Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets, escalations, and service requests in a timely manner. Ensure regular software updates, patches, and security updates are applied to maintain system security and performance. Assist in managing and troubleshooting the hotel's network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, wired network, guest access, etc.). Monitor network performance and ensure optimal connectivity for staff, guests, and business operations. Ensure guest-facing tech is fully functional, user-friendly, and meets the high standards expected at a luxury hotel. Work with the Director of IT to ensure the hotel complies with local and international data protection and IT security regulations. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and IT-related services. Maintain detailed documentation of the hotel's IT systems, processes, and inventory of hardware and software. Provide regular reports on IT system performance, incidents, and ongoing projects to the Director of IT.
Qualifications
Experience in an IT support or coordination role within the hospitality or luxury hotel industry. Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficient with various hotel technology platforms and systems, including property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS) systems, and guest Wi-Fi management. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, operating systems (Windows, MacOS), and enterprise-level applications. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service in a high-pressure, luxury environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge of IT security practices, data protection policies, and compliance regulations is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (e.g., equipment, hardware).
