We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst for Oracle eBusiness Systems, on-premises release R12.2.10.The Analyst will work effectively under minimal supervision and provide application support for developing and supporting customizations and extensions covering modules in Finance or Oracle Projects. This position will support our business users, participate in all relevant changes management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member of a large Oracle support team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides application functional and limited technical support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules in Finance (AR, AP, GL, CM, FA, iExpense, and iSupplier) and in Projects (Costing, Billing, Accounting). Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs. Troubleshoots, identifies the underlying cause, and recommends workarounds and/or corrective actions to solve the problem. Use diagnostics scripts, SQL and other query writing tools to analyze data, extract data for ad hoc reporting, and identify constraints and integrity issues with data. Provide data correction scripts to address a defect due to inconsistent state of the data. Conduct conference room pilots, user acceptance testing on defect fixes, features and system improvements, ensuring acceptance criteria is met without significant impediments. Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable). Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle. Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and deliver business expertise solutions. Tracking deliverables and provide reporting to management as needed. Willing to travel up to10%. Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university with Accounting Major, or 5 years of related industry is required. At least 3-5 years of experience working and supporting Oracle eBusiness Modules. Preferably Finance and/or Oracle Projects. Able to review and understand programming logic constructs used in Workflow, Apex, BI Publisher Reports to learn current system state. 3+ years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL is required. 3+ years of programming experience in Oracle Apex is preferred. Experience working in a multi-developer, team environment is preferred. Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) is preferred. Able to articulate application behavior, current and future states, in a language that is understood by the end user.
