Position description The UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals are recruiting faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor rank of the Adjunct, Clinical X, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, or In Residence faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience. Position Overview: Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and established fellowship training program. This position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative division within one of the nation's leading academic medical centers. Minimum Qualifications: Medical degree and license Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Infectious Diseases Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated interest in a career in academic pediatrics Proven ability to work collaboratively across pediatric disciplines For positions that are 51% effort or more: The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The minimum base salary range for this position is $110,500-$333,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
