Your role at Sephora: The IT Director of Enterprise Architecture is responsible for driving and managing enterprise-wide architectural solutions and strategies that align with the company’s digital, ecommerce, and data initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with various internal and external partners to ensure that architectural strategies support the business's current and future needs. This role will manage a team of Enterprise Architects and will be instrumental in guiding, coaching and developing them. Responsibilities: Leads the design and implementation of the enterprise architecture for the ecommerce platform. Aligns architecture strategy with business goals, ensuring scalable and secure solutions that meet performance requirements. Guides architecture decisions across teams and projects. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with business needs. Engages with product, operations, and customer experience teams to ensure architectural solutions support business objectives and enhance user experiences. Mentors and develops the enterprise architecture team. Provides leadership and guidance to architects and IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Establishes and enforces best practices in system design, data management, and security. Develops standards and guidelines for system architecture, data governance, and cybersecurity across the organization. Monitors and assesses the performance of IT systems and architectures. Identifies areas for optimization, drives continuous improvement, and oversees the implementation of changes to enhance performance and efficiency. Oversees the integration of new technologies and tools into the existing infrastructure. Evaluates emerging technologies, manages vendor relationships, and ensures seamless integration with minimal disruption to operations. We’re excited about you if you have: 10+ years experience as an IT Architect 15+ years' of experience with Digital, E-Commerce and Data space (E-Commerce, Web Architecture, Data Analytics, Loyalty, Digital Marketing) 6+ years people management experience focusing on architecture and the introduction, scaling and maintaining new technologies. Extensive knowledge of:
Enterprise Architecture Design RDBMS and modern NoSQL Database Designs Microservices and API Integration Data Governance and Security Digital Transformation Strategies Agile and DevOps practices
Competency of stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, regulatory compliance, budget management, and cost optimization The annual base salary range for this position is $201,240.00- $248,400.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
