About the Team The Business Strategy & Operations team prioritizes key business initiatives and drives these initiatives across Rubrik. We complement and support product, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and post-sales teams to drive company attainment of topline goals and KPIs. We do this by working across teams to set goals, drive alignment, execute initiatives, and improve processes end to end from product design/building to market delivery. About the Role This Director role is responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision of our organization. The successful candidate will lead the organization in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies that improve business operations, create growth opportunities, and increase market share. The Director of Business Strategy and Operations will collaborate across functional teams to ensure that the organization's goals, objectives, and strategies are aligned with its mission and vision. This role will report into the VP of Strategy and Chief of Staff. What You’ll Do Business Strategy: Identifying new market opportunities, tying product strategy to a go-to-market strategy with quantifiable outcomes. Keeping tabs on the market landscape to identify opportunities, threats, and trends. This requires creative thinking and analytical horsepower. Prioritizing, Measuring, and Reporting: Taking key company initiatives, breaking them down into OKRs, KPIs, tracking and measuring these metrics, and establishing a cadence of reporting on progress of initiatives. Orchestration and Operations: Making sure stuff runs smoothly, consistently, and predictably. Configure pods of cross-functional members to drive and execute a strategy based on a product line. Run a regular operating rhythm while determining whether there’s a better way of doing things. Diplomacy: Work “across the aisle” with stakeholders, partners, and external organizations to achieve excellent outcomes for our customers, partners, and business. Experience You’ll Need Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, consulting, business strategy/operations, or related field Proven track record of successfully leading strategic planning initiatives and driving organizational growth Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically, provide innovative solutions, and implement with a hands-on role Knowledge of market research and data analysis techniques Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a high-performance culture Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
