Apply Here Division Chief Health Care & Fair Competition Bureau Antitrust Division Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is looking for an experienced and highly motivated attorney to join her management team as the Chief of the Antitrust Division. The Antitrust Division protects the people, state agencies, and businesses of Massachusetts from anticompetitive practices and helps maintain a competitive economy through fair enforcement of antitrust laws. Primary Duties: Supervise and direct the Division’s Assistant Attorneys General and other staff. Oversee civil enforcement, including the review and approval of civil investigative demands, civil complaints, briefs, and other court filings. Develop investigative strategy and negotiate civil settlements. Manage overall administration of the Division, including personnel matters and drafting periodic reports. Handle significant or sensitive matters, including litigation, settlement negotiations, and non-litigation projects. Mentor Division staff and assist with skills development. The Division Chief will represent the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in investigations and litigation before state and federal courts involving the enforcement of antitrust laws. Cases cover a broad range of industries and often pose complex legal and economic issues. Position Type:

Full Time/Exempt. Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions. Salary:

Diann DiBenedetto, Administrative Assistant Antitrust Division 671-963-2688 Desired Experience, Qualifications, and Skills: At least seven years litigation and/or relevant legal experience. A working knowledge of antitrust laws. Management experience. Experience supervising and/or mentoring legal and non-legal staff of varying experience levels. Must be a member of the Massachusetts bar or eligible for admission by motion. Applicants should be highly motivated, intellectually curious, and able to assimilate new subject areas. Effective writing, legal-analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to quickly grasp complex legal, business, financial, and economic concepts. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with quantitative analyses is a plus. Ability to effectively work with experts regarding economic concepts and market structure issues.
