We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to partner with the Prime Video & Studios Technology organizations. The HR leader in this role would partner closely with senior leaders across our most exciting and innovative Tech organizations, focusing on Prime Video's global app experience and the resilience and availability of our services. This HR leader would partner with business and tech leaders on talent priorities that lead to business impact, including employee experience, org health and efficiency, building and retaining a diverse Tech workforce, and supporting org design and talent placement discussions. To drive these priorities effectively, this individual must have the ability to learn complex businesses, understand nuanced differences between tech roles, influence with data, innovate people initiatives, and coach senior leaders to maximize their effectiveness. Key job responsibilities This is both a strategic and hands-on role including improving organizational effectiveness & design, leading change management, providing leadership coaching, and driving HR functional excellence. Successful candidates will also demonstrate: Genuine curiosity and ability to interpret business goals and recommend new approaches to talent acquisition and management. A true hands-on approach and a willingness to go to the frontline to understand our employees and customers. Experience with multi-functional and ever-changing work environments. Coaching and mentoring at all management levels. Creative problem solving that works backwards from the end customer and business client. Success in creating and driving effective career development, retention, and recognition programs. Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create meaningful client relationships. The ability to think big but also not be afraid to roll up your sleeves. The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while continually moving initiatives forward. Must be able to interface at executive levels of the organization. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of relevant Human Resources experience • Experience working across a global organization and with multi-territory support. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources or related field. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in Entertainment or Creative industries. • Experience in working in a highly matrixed organization. • Project management and execution skills. • Thrives in a high-impact environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities. • Able to build trust with managers thanks to strong expertise and judgment. • Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team & business. • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis. • Strong use of Excel and other analytical skills. • Strong communication skills. • Coaching and consulting skills.
