The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Analyst of Strategic Initiatives reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives. This position works on-site in Miami, Florida Position Summary: As a key member of the Corporate Development team reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Initiatives, the Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving key strategic projects and initiatives across Royal Caribbean and will support engagement between the Royal Caribbean Group and its portfolio of over 25 Joint Ventures (JVs), overseeing their financial performance and issuing periodic reports to management. The Senior Analyst will be a self-starter and natural leader with excellent quantitative and verbal/communications skills. They will have the maturity and confidence to interface with company executives, and humble self-aware personal style that enables them to lead cross-functional teams to consensus around solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager and Director of Strategic Initiatives. Support the overall Asset Management process with a focus on excellence. Conduct in-depth analyses on JVs, review materials for internal approvals (e.g., capital contributions), and manage alignment processes. Facilitate JVs' access to company resources and services, including skills, data, tools, best practices, and relationships. Oversee and coordinate information requests, audits, and communications between RCG and JVs. Manage ongoing operational and financial performance reporting, including internal metrics and tracking. Support strategic initiatives through meticulous implementation planning, impactful change management, and comprehensive training programs. Drive integration and carve-out projects, along with other high-impact, value-added initiatives. Employees will be required to perform other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: A Bachelors Degree is required / Masters degree desirable. Minimum 2-3 years related work experience. Corporate development, restructuring, management consulting, investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity background preferred. Strong analytical, finance, and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Driven to get tasks done promptly. Strong attention to detail. Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, a strong desire to learn, and passion for creating an excellent work product. Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills to drive complex business issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment. Fast learner and able to link diverse sources of information to the cruise business, including ability to handle confidential information and materials with appropriate discretion. Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization. Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people’s opinions. Discretion and good business judgment are paramount in this role.
