You are: As a Revenue Cycle Consultant, you possess an understanding of both end-to-end revenue cycle processes (patient access, health information management, billing, collections) and the healthcare IT landscape. You will be at the core of streamlining and improving financial operations to help our clients meet their business goals and address their most pressing challenges in the everchanging healthcare landscape. The work: Assess and Implement Strategic Business Improvement Projects Implement Revenue Cycle solutions across complex, large-scale health care providers; understanding of the Revenue Cycle process and its full impact on the financials. Provide revenue cycle functional expertise and best practices for electronic medical record (EMR) implementations. Identify and prioritize client value creation opportunities based on research and analysis activities. Contribute to the business solution implementation: define business architecture, process design, and development activities. Execute on implementation plans and develop project deliverables to schedule and performance goals. Help clients start the process of modernizing their revenue cycle and finance functions. Own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to foster engagement success. Analyze and document revenue cycle processes, focusing on specific opportunity areas. Lead initiative teams consisting of Accenture and client participants. Recognize and identify revenue cycle process challenges or opportunities. Client Relationship Development and Management: Manage key client stakeholder relationships and communications. Support day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Prepare and communicate well-organized reports and presentations to client and internal executives. Cultivate follow-on opportunities at clients and develop compelling business case/proposals. Be a trusted advisor to client leaders and key stakeholders. Practice Building: Proactively contribute and participate in practice-building activities. Share your experience in specific practice specialty areas. Mentor team and practice members. Stay on top of current regulations, trends, and technologies influencing revenue cycle. Travel: As needed, up to 80% Here’s what you need: Minimum of 3 years of finance and management consulting experience. Minimum of 2 years of healthcare provider Revenue Cycle environment experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience transforming revenue cycle processes. Minimum of 2 years of Epic specialization and/or knowledge in Epic modules. Bachelor's Degree. Bonus points if: You’re a pro when it comes to engagement. Experience with EMR design and/or implementation. Strong financial acumen. Prior experience working in consultancy or consulting capacity. Experience with Automation, Data Visualization and Analytics in Revenue Cycle. Master problem-solver. Effective leadership and management skills. Ability to create and deliver high-impact communications to senior audiences. In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, workflows, and regulatory requirements. Epic Certification.
