Job Summary
As the Regional Operations Director, you will plan objectives for the region and ensure unit directors comply with corporate, regional, and financial goals. You will be responsible for the overall operation, growth, and profitability of the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Plans and directs the operation of assigned accounts in support of Key Performance Indicators.
Develops common direction for the team, setting priorities and making team agenda and strategy clear.
Implements policies and procedures of the region to ensure maximum income from existing accounts.
Supports the development of clinical and patient service programs that meet client needs and satisfaction.
Participates in the sales process for acquiring new business.
Monitors financial reports of accounts to ensure budgetary compliance with Regional and Corporate goals.
Develops and motivates effective management and clinical staff to achieve goals.
Interfaces with existing clients to maintain satisfaction and account retention.
Resolves client, patient, and employee-related complaints elevated from Directors.
Conducts appropriate annual and semi-annual performance evaluations.
Completes all reports as outlined in corporate policy and procedures on time.
Participates in Patient Visitation rounds during each site visit to ensure compliance with policies.
Trains, motivates, and develops management personnel to achieve high morale and efficient use of resources.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience in multi-unit management with a focus on Dining Services.
Proven ability to manage a team of six or more manager-level team members.
Minimum of two years’ experience in multi-unit foodservice management.
Experience with multi-unit foodservice management with a combined managed volume of $3 million or greater.
Strong track record of driving customer satisfaction.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Care related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced, P&L driven environment.
Proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
Strong Culinary skills and the ability to coach and teach.
Proficient in Excel and online communication tools.
