RN - Infusion
performs both independent nursing and delegated medical functions. Independent nursing includes assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patient population(s) in the ambulatory care setting. Delegated medical functions include participation in and coordination of delegated patient care to other health care team members. The
RN - Infusion
is responsible for performing these functions and working in collaboration with providers and care team to perform these functions in accordance with all policy, procedure, and professional practice guidelines.
What you will do as an RN - Infusion: Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes Implements nursing interventions based on plan of care Evaluates care and the patient's response to interventions and expected outcomes Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patients Performs other duties as determined by manager and clinic needs What you will need: Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse license Current national certification depending on area of specialty or the ability to obtain one within 18 months of start date or prorated for FTE appointment (if applicable for role). Maintain Oncology Nursing Society's ONS Provider Card or obtain within 30 days of start date (if applicable for role). Maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification Preferred: 2+ years of acute care nursing and/or infusion or ambulatory care nursing experience 2+ years of experience in administering antineoplastic agents Location:
