Fusion Specialist Americas - Vice President

J.P. Morgan is adding to its Specialist Sales function, to support Fusion, the firm's data management platform in the Americas. The role is part of the Global Data & Analytics Sales team and will be accountable locally to Securities Services Sales in the region. Fusion is the next-generation data platform by J.P. Morgan Securities Services that delivers end-to-end data management, analytics, and reporting solutions across the investment lifecycle. Fusion is a cloud-native data technology solution which accelerates institutional investors' data and analytic outcomes. As a Vice President on the Fusion Specialist Americas team, key performance dimensions in this role include business results, client/customer focus, teamwork and leadership, and risk and controls. Job Responsibilities:

Partner with Platform Sales, Product, and Technology teams to support and drive a clear value proposition of Fusion capabilities to clients and prospects. Deliver the technology development and investment story through client meetings and various J.P. Morgan and industry events. Maintain ongoing communication with senior internal and external stakeholders to ensure they are informed of new developments and to identify opportunities for operational efficiency that support the platform's commercialization. Drive client connectivity across established Lines of Business, as well as independent engagements for all pillars of Fusion capabilities including Data Distribution, Data Management, and Analytics and Reporting. Focus on client acquisition for Fusion solutions including prospecting and networking, generation of new business pipeline, and sales. Help lead the establishment and adoption of sales culture, process, and accountability. Develop and lead sales training across client-facing Sales teams to ensure proficiency in presenting the value proposition of Fusion Solutions for lead generation and development of Fusion sales opportunities. Provide input for creation of new content and collateral to be used internally and in client meetings. Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

Proven track record in technology, data, and analytics sales or consulting with institutional clients. Solid financial services industry knowledge, particularly data and related operating model challenges the buy-side are facing. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to interact at different levels of a client organization and influence client decisions. Credibility in providing thought leadership on industry challenges in client and industry engagements. Proactive sales hunter to drive end-to-end sales process from lead generation through to client acquisition. Strategic and creative problem-solving skills as well as solid written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

Hands-on experience in SQL, Python, Tableau; previous experience at a vendor in a sales role or in a product role would be beneficial. Further breadth of experience across Markets (Equities, Prime Services, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities) in addition to Securities Services would be a plus.
