Lumentum is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) Manager to serve as the primary strategic partner for our dynamic and fast-paced Cloud business. In this role, you will report to the HR Leader for the Cloud and Networking Platform (CNP) and serve as a trusted advisor for the Cloud Leadership Team. You will develop and implement HR strategies to support scaling the business and developing employees working at the San Jose headquarters. You will also partner closely with HR colleagues in the EMEA and APAC regions, and HR centers of excellence, to ensure continuity of HR programs across the global CNP organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: In partnership with business leaders, develop and implement a talent plan that ensures the organization has the right talent to scale and grow. Participate and/or lead activities to maintain a healthy and productive work environment, such as coaching and development planning, investigating and resolving employee relations issues, compensation planning, hiring and retention of talented employees, and encouraging open, productive dialogue between managers, employees, and other partners. Develop the breadth and depth of understanding of the business model, competitive landscape, and business strategies necessary to assess talent implications and align human resource initiatives. Bring thought leadership and experience to change management initiatives across the business. Ensure the quality and responsiveness of the overall delivery of all HR services for the business. Establish, build, and maintain strong relationships with key HR partners globally to ensure all elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet and exceed business needs. Implement and support HR programs. Programs include performance management, compensation, employee development, diversity, inclusion, and belonging in alignment with business strategies. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: Organizational design, workforce strategy, and planning efforts to scale and grow an organization. Experience in building leaders and managers capabilities. The agility to flex between developing strategy and immersing yourself in the details to drive execution. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and use it to influence decision-making. Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with management to achieve both HR and business objectives. Exemplary communication ability, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively influence. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS: 12 plus years of relevant experience in HR partnering with senior leaders. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Communication, or a related discipline. Experience leading HR activities within a technology environment is a plus. Experience working in a matrix HR environment and partnering with international teams. Pay Range: P70-USA-1: $124,600.00 - $178,000.00 Disclaimer: Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job location, where work will be performed, qualifications, work history, and relevant experience.
