Strategic Sourcing Coordinator Strategic Sourcing Coordinators on the Real Estate & Development Team assist Strategic Sourcing Managers with the commercial relationship with our Owner Furnished Item (OFI) manufacturing partners and provide support for cost negotiations, continuity of supply, risk management, driving operational and cost efficiencies through process or design change, as well overall project execution and delivery. Description Successful SSCs thrive in a rapidly changing environment and constantly drive excellence across their own responsibilities as well as that of team members and partners. They frequently leverage strategic internal relationships to effectively collaborate with other Apple teams. You can make smart decisions with the information available, think and stay focused under pressure, and communicate concisely and effectively with senior management as well as peers. ADMINISTRATION:

Support procurement processes on the commodity team to process proposals and change orders for projects. Process close out change orders upon project completion. Track project on site date requirements and work with vendors to fabricate, deliver, and install on schedule. Support and troubleshoot store issues worldwide.

STRATEGY:

Support analysis for existing supplier strategy for the commodity and the Strategic Sourcing Managers in expanding the supply base. Minimal travel required. Develop and manage project level relationships with supply base to support day to day commodity activities.

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT:

Support the creation and analysis for RFP’s, contract negotiations and procurement for the commodity worldwide. Join contract and cost negotiations with the Strategic Sourcing Manager. Support value engineering initiatives for this commodity. Independently manage the orders, production, and shipment with the supplier.

EXECUTION:

Support flawless execution of project delivery and quality for commodity. Support supplier forecasting to ensure zero air freight exposure for commodity. Identify day to working process improvements and efficiencies with supplier tracking and ordering.

Minimum Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in supply chain development, strategic sourcing, or procurement. Preferred Qualifications Ability to toggle between strategic and detail-oriented thinking. Tenacious problem solving & issue resolution skills. Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments. Excellent communicator, capable of working in multinational environments, driven and motivated by accomplishing extraordinary objectives. Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and have experience working well with and ability to influence cross-functional teams. Possess strong business acumen and experience managing strategic supply chains, cost models, and complex procurements. Have a background in handling detailed negotiations and strong analytical skills. Procurement experience specifically with construction materials is a plus.
