Senior Project Manager Constructions/Engineering Washington DC Salary: 160k - 200k Annual plus benefits The Role This role leads and oversees the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of all Florida projects, including the responsibility of leading and mentoring the engineering team. Responsibilities: Project initiation : Analyze the project scope, prepare budgets and schedules, and select teams and resources. Project planning : Set goals and objectives, define roles, and produce schedules and timelines for tasks in accordance with client needs. Project management : Assign and manage project tasks, monitor budget and schedule, prepare monthly update reports, prepare monthly invoices, and review and approve monthly accounts payables. Project closeout : Prepare all final close-out documents, evaluate successes and challenges, and prepare a final closeout report which defines successes and challenges to improve future performance. Direct and manage the engineering team while prioritizing multiple deadlines and competing priorities. Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time. Implement necessary changes throughout the process. Report regularly to management and the client. Perform other related duties as required. Required Skills and Experience: Florida Professional Engineer license. Availability to work on-site in Washington D.C. Undergraduate degree in engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Structural). 10+ years of experience in engineering, designing, or construction

CERTIFIED IN USA . 7-10 years of experience in personnel and cost/financial management. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Experience in the operational aspects, services, and activities of a comprehensive civil engineering program, particularly in the design, construction, inspection, and contract administration of stormwater systems, water, and wastewater facilities projects, is highly advantageous. A comprehensive understanding of both the permitting procedures and regulatory requirements, including familiarity with administrative codes, for a specific engineering discipline is essential. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
