The Warehouse Manager oversees and ensures smooth functioning of Commissary and Warehouse Operations, Vending, and miscellaneous small purchasing functions. The primary management functions include: shipping/receiving, product storage, inventory maintenance, building maintenance, trash removal, driver scheduling, Warehouse safety, preventative maintenance of all warehouse equipment, property management tagging, and other duties as assigned. Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products required. Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge of office protocols. Good interpersonal skills. Time management and prioritization skills helpful. Familiarity with SU campus is helpful. Responsibilities
Directly supervise, train and schedule all exempt, non-exempt and bargaining unit Warehouse employees, including drivers to ensure safe operations and delivery accuracy and efficiency. Develop structured SOPs for all processes to support smooth operations of the University Commissary and Warehouse. Maintain vendor contacts and coordinate staffing and delivery schedules to achieve maximum operating efficiency. Manage warehouse inventory control processes/systems to optimize 1.5 million dollar inventory holding. Responsible for all property management including building maintenance and equipment maintenance/repair to prevent equipment failure and ensure minimal downtime. Application Instructions
