The Mid-Senior Level Energy Project Finance Associate Attorney will be responsible for leading energy project development, M&A, and project finance transactions. They will draft primary deal documents, manage complex diligence processes, interact with clients, and oversee deal management, including junior associates and internal specialist teams. The ideal candidate should be team-oriented, capable of taking significant responsibility, and adaptable to a fast-paced practice environment. Duties: Draft primary deal documents including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements (including tax equity), financing agreements, and joint venture agreements. Lead complex diligence processes and manage deal management, including overseeing junior associates and internal specialist teams. Interact with clients, providing high-quality work product and maintaining strong client relationships. Navigate energy regulatory matters, project real property, permitting requirements, and commercial agreements such as offtake and interconnection agreements. Work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to the overall success of energy project finance transactions. Requirements: Admission to one or more State Bars. 4+ years of experience in the project development and finance group, with a focus on renewable power and energy transition. Significant experience in energy project development, M&A, and project finance transactions involving sponsors, investors, developers, and/or lenders. Familiarity with energy regulatory matters and commercial agreements related to energy projects. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to one or more State Bars.
