Job Summary:
The Packaging Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various processing equipment and ensuring the efficient production of products. The role includes following production procedures, performing routine cleaning and maintenance, executing batch records in SAP, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Essential Job Functions:
•Operate processing equipment, including COP (Clean Out of Place), CIP (Clean In Place), Kaps All Torquer, label line, and more.
•Perform routine cleaning of production rooms and equipment, including monthly phenolic cleaning.
•Manage waste disposal and manual cleaning of small parts.
•Pull bottles from inventory and manage bottle pass-through to Class 100 clean room.
•Perform hand torque, torque testing, and application of pinch clamps.
•Package bags/bottles and ensure proper labeling of in-process equipment and containers.
•Communicate and document the status of processes, products, and equipment.
•Notify supervisor of deviations in production operations/equipment.
•Execute batch records in SAP (eBR) and ensure all applicable log books are completed according to procedures.
•Follow production procedures, safety policies, and quality standards at all times.
•Use, clean, and store all personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
•Take necessary actions to resolve unsafe conditions and ensure safety standards are maintained.
•Participate in required safety, quality training, and other related activities.
•Maintain good housekeeping in manufacturing and work areas.
Basic Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
Essential and Critical Skills:
•Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
•Proficiency in computer systems (SAP).
•Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
•Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Education:
High School
