General Manager 4 of Environmental Services

located in Smithfield, NC. This is a Director opportunity at Johnston Smithfield, which is a 250 bed hospital that's part of the UNC system. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Environmental Services operations at the main hospital and will also oversee 3 other locations. The role will directly and indirectly supervise a team of 80-plus frontline employees and managers and will be responsible for driving the metrics that are important to the client & Sodexo. This is a day shift position with some weekends and holidays. Benefits:

be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores; provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and work closely with the Infectious Control department; support a diverse and inclusive workforce and provide strong leadership. have experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a healthcare housekeeping system; can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees and change management; are results and safety driven; have experience with vendor and contract management, as well as union and contract negotiations; have experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards; have 5 years previous custodial / housekeeping or similar management experience, in a hospital, healthcare experience preferred; have strong financial acumen and budget management experience; are proficient with computers and other technology.
